Martha Cohen Stine Is a named partner in the firm Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann LLP and has focused exclusively in the field of family law since 1993. Prior to that time, she was a commercial litigator with Shea & Gould. Ms. Stine has significant litigation and trial experience in New York's trial and appellate courts. She appears frequently in the media as an expert and commentator on family law issues, and has been involved in many high profile matrimonial matters throughout her career. Ms. Stine received her J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1979, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was an editor of the Law Review. She received her B.A., cum laude, from New York University, University College of Arts & Science.

Ms. Stine has been awarded the AV Preeminent rating by Martindale and Hubbell, the nationally recognized legal directory, signifying the highest rating for legal ability and professional standards of conduct and ethics, and is named in Super Lawyers New York Metro, 2012, as a top lawyer in her field..

Ms. Stine is active in numerous bar associations and plays leadership roles. She is a member of NYCLA and sits on the Board of Directors of the NYCLA Foundation.  She is a member of the New York City Bar Association where she serves on the Litigation Committee.  Ms. Stine also serves on the executive committee of The New York American Inn of Court, and is active in other bar associations including The New York State Bar Association and The New York Women's Bar Association.

Ms. Stine is a trained singer with a strong connection to the Arts. She sings with the Blue Hill Troupe and is a member of two professional theatrical clubs in New York, the Players Club and the Lambs.
