Orrit Hershkovitz, is an experienced litigator, representing clients in all areas of matrimonial and family law, including the litigation of child custody and access schedules, complex financial issues, and the negotiation and drafting of pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and separation agreements.

Born in Israel in 1968, Ms. Hershkovitz was admitted to the New York and Massachusetts Bars in 1998 and 1995, respectively.

Prior to her association with Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann LLP, Ms. Hershkovitz was associated with Cohen Hennessey Bienstock & Rabin P.C., which she joined in 2006. Before that, Ms. Hershkovitz was associated with Snitow Kanfer Holtzer & Millus, LLP, where she also practiced matrimonial law. Prior to that, Ms. Hershkovitz served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York where she litigated in State and Federal Courts in New York on civil rights matters.

She serves as a member of the State Courts of Superior Jurisdiction Committee of the New York City Bar Association and as the Awards Chair of the New York Women's Bar Association. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Ms. Hershkovitz is a 1995 graduate of the Boston University School of Law and received her B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1992. She is fluent in Hebrew.
